M-Sgt. Dallas Factor Is War Casualty


Master Sgt. Dallas Harold Factor of Mt. Sterling and Quincy, was killed in

action in Belgium on March 14, according to word that the war department sent

to his widow, Mrs. Genevieve Factor, who now lives in Chicago. Sgt. Factor was

with an ordnance unit in Belgium. His mother, Mrs. Etta Newman lives in

Chicago. Sgt. Factor was inducted into services in 1942 and he had been

overseas for 18 months. He was born in Mt. Sterling and was reared in Quincy.
